What to see and do
The countryside surrounding Bleadon has much to offer for most tastes. Weston-Super-Mare is a renowned family seaside resort with many attractions without being brash, Burnham-on-Sea and the miles of Brean Sands are a short drive away. There is also an extensive Leisure Park with evening entertainment at Brean.
Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury, Bath and the Somerset country town of Taunton are all within a short drive, whilst for keen walkers and nature lovers these cottages make an excellent base for exploring the Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels, Quantock Hills – and even Exmoor is less than an hour’s drive away.
